Situated on the banks of Loch Lomond, our cosy self-catering bunkhouse offers excellent accommodation along the West Highland Way. We can accommodate up to 12 people making Balmaha Bunkhouse a great base for families and small groups. Please bear in mind that we cannot accommodate dogs or other pets.
Our bunkhouse has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, (one being ensuite) a common room with kitchen and laundry facilities, a small drying room, and outdoor seating.

Balmaha is a tiny village on the east side of Loch Lomond, less than an hour’s drive away from both Stirling and Glasgow. With a waterbus link to Luss on the west side of the loch, Balmaha is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring Britain’s largest lake and the National Park.

BATHROOMS
We have three bathrooms; one ensuite with the purple room; one with the blue room, and one for the yellow and green rooms. Each bathroom has a wash basin, shower, and toilet. There is also a toilet inside the entrance. We provide soap, shower gel, and 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner.
COMMON ROOM & OUTDOOR SEATING AREA
Unwind after a long day in our common room, where you can help yourself to tea and coffee. Kitchen facilities include: electric hob, oven, microwave, toasters, kettles, fridge freezer, and sink. We have laundry facilities in the form of a washer-dryer combo in the kitchen, as well as a clothes line in the outdoor seating area. The drying room has a dehumidifier and an electric clothes dryer; there is also one in each bedroom. The common room also has a selection of books, board games, and a smart TV.
The furniture and layout of this room can be changed to suit the requirements of a group hiring the whole bunkhouse, if desired.
Breakfast cereals, bread, butter, milk (semi-skimmed), ten kinds of tea, coffee and hot chocolate are complimentary. Soya milk can be supplied on request.
